The clothes the game was won in.

IThe Cloth

Start close enough to count the purls.

Cable knit that came off a real shelf in a real pro shop. Towelling, velour, pique that has been through actual summers. The badges are embroidered, not printed, and the trim is the trim.

Nothing here was made to look old. It got old, and it was kept.

IIThe Era

The best the game ever looked.

Wood-frame manners and knitwear at the net. Where the archive's oldest pieces come from.

Then the loud years. Challenge Court held up to a street-court crowd, and nobody apologising for any of it.

And the imperial years, when the kit got quiet again because it did not need to say anything.

The archive spans 1990

IIIProvenance

Every piece is listed with what is known.

The year. The tour stop. The player it is associated with. The flaws, photographed instead of hidden. A vintage piece without its story is just used clothing; the story is the work, and it is done before anything goes up.

These four are real listings, labels as written.
